Mini Workshops

We hold several mini workshops throughout the year,
  They are always very popular.
Jan led a mini workshop showing us how to do reverse applique.

Time for getting together while Jan prepares.

Reverse applique - the challenge

Helen Livesey, a branch member led a workshop showing us how to make brooches using old zips.

Lois Wilkes, a branch member led a mini workshop called DOORWAYS.
Lois provided us with printed doorways which we could embroider using many different stitches and colours.  As usual, members succeeded in stitching their own personal view of colourful doorways, many of which were finished after the workshop.
