Members to share any useful tips and techniques for textiles and any tools for general use or specific to an activity.  They may bring a finished project or work in progress from this year.

Weaving in the Peruvian Highlands with 

Meri Hunneyball

Digital presentation of Tukuru Textiles which covers aspects of life, location, tradition and the complete weaving process in the Andes.  If time allows Meri will include a quick demonstration on the backstrap loom.

Meri will also bring goods to see and purchase if wished

Pat makes books and collages which cross the boundaries between paper, fibre art, digital print and book art.

Felted Zippy Brooches with Helen Livesey

A mini workshop evening led by Helen to hand make brooches with felt backing and zip decoration.

A mini stitching workshop led by Lois, using a variety of embroidery stitches to embellish a doorway design.

Crochet - not just for Grannies

Member Pauline Fitzpatrick will talk all about her wonderful work and the world of hook and yarn.

Saturday 9th May.

Kate Wells will take a whole day workshop on machine embroidery.
The workshop will include work on line, texture and surfaces and is suitable for beginners and more experienced stitchers.

Kantha with Eddie Cheadle

A mini workshop led by Eddie on Kantha stitching. Kit will be provided with design on fabric ready to stitch, and threads available for members. Advice will be given on completion and framing.
