Daventry & District

Anybody interested in needlecraft and textiles can join - you do not need to be an expert or even be able to stitch! Our monthly meetings include interesting speakers on textile - related topics, along with the chance to 'sit and sew', sometimes with a theme.

This year our branch will be putting up an exhibition of members work at The National trust House Cannons Ashby.

We meet in The Abbey Centre, Market Square, Daventry, NN11 4XG on the 3rd Wednesday in the month 7.30pm-9.30pm

We also have two additional groups attached to our branch -

Saturday Stitches - an informal group, not just branch members, that meets on the last Saturday of the month, usually with a shared lunch, from 10am, at the Abbey Centre.

Thurst - a group of stitchers who meet for relaxed embroidery sessions on the second Thursday of each month at the Abby Centre from 2pm - 4pm.

We are a lovely, friendly branch who welcome new members and enjoy exchanging thoughts, ideas and opinions. We welcome suggestions for mini workshops from our members if they wish too, whole day workshops and speakers.

Please feel free to visit us for the evening or contact us for more information. We'd love to see you, ply you with tea or coffee, and share our love of textile-related topics.
