Sue studied fashion at St Martin's 
School of Art and then embroidery at Goldsmith's College.  Her work is mainly figurative and built in layers of hand and machine stitching and paint.

Judith makes elegant jewellery.  Her designs feature beautiful antique buttons, delicate vintage lace and old haberdashery.
This will be a hands-on jewellery-making session.  (Please bring jewellery-makers pliers if you have them.)

The museum has a collection of embroideries and costumes.  This will be a talk accompanied by significant textile artefacts.

In order to cover the cost of the hall and materials we request a donation of £3 per morning session and £5 for the afternoon session.

Refreshments are free and available throughout the day.
