Lincoln Bailgate

We are a very friendly group, who meet in the Bailgate Methodist Church Lounge, Bailgate, Lincoln LN1 3AR on the last Friday of each month [except August and December] from 7pm-9pm.

The evening usually starts with coffee/tea and biscuits, then any business e.g. news of exhibitions, plans for the branch etc; then we either have a speaker, or a practical evening, or a mixture of both.

We have a Branch Blog which is updated with photos several times every month.

In addition to our Friday evening meetings, we also have Saturday Stitch Clubs, which are run by members for members in a very informal atmosphere.  Here members can try their hand at a variety of different techniques, ranging from basic embroidery to goldwork, mixed media, ribbon work, and in fact anything that may be of interest. These are held at Thomas Garrett Heritage Rooms, Potterhanworth Rd, Heighington, LN4 1JS.

We have a number of Workshops where specialised tutors come and teach members in their techniques and methods. These are held at Thomas Garrett Heritage Rooms, Potterhanworth Rd, Heighington, LN4 1JS.
