February 17th Sally Wilson 'Textiles and recovery from a Traumatic Brain Injury'
An introduction into how Sally explores and develops concepts into final Art works. She will explain her chosen methods and processes, and how a traumatic brain injury and badly broken wrist influenced and dictated methods and creativity. Sally won the prestigious Hand and Lock Prize in 2016.

Bad weather intervened, the display table had fewer exhibits than usual. Members brought their Linus Quilts which will be handed to the Derby coordinator in April for distribution to terminally ill children.

" As a photographer I capture images of what inspire s me, details, colours and textures, which I respond to.
The digital pixilation becomes a key concept within my mixed media textile work.
I deconstruct my responses until the details take on their own identity, and then work together in harmony when my subject is reconstructed."
