To celebrate the 2016 National Day of Stitch,we held a drop in sewing event in ASHBOURNE LIBRARY between 10 and 3 on June 17th, June 24th and July 1st.

Kantha with Eddie Cheadle
A mini workshop led by Eddie on Kantha stitching. Kit will be provided with design on fabric ready to stitch, and threads available for members. Advice will be given on completion and framing.
Kate Wells will take a whole day workshop on machine embroidery.
The workshop will include work on line, texture and surfaces and is suitable for beginners and more experienced stitchers.
