Chesterfield Embroiderers' are a friendly group of people with an interest in textiles, embroidery and mixed media.

ABOUT CHESTERFIELD EMBROIDERERS                     

Some members are highly skilled, others beginners and others somewhere in between.  Everyone welcome.  We have a varied programme with speakers, member led workshops, day workshops and visits.

We currently meet in an upstairs room at The Saints Parish Centre, 3 St Mary's Gate Chesterfield S41 7TJ (just below the Crooked Spire church), on the 1st Thursday in the month 7pm for 7.15pm - 9pm (except in August). There is a lift to the first floor.  There are a number of pay and display car parks close by.

Sit 'N' Stitch Meetings

Sit 'n' stitch session at St Thomas Centre, Brampton. All welcome are to join us, just bring your current project and come and have a chat. £2 per person.

Our next exhibition will be at Bakewell Old House Museum in 2025.

About: A collection of work showcasing embroidery and textile art by our Chesterfield Embroiderers members. This exhibition also included a series of hand stitched illuminated letters and artworks inspired by St Mary's & All Saints Church, where the exhibition was held.
